Alaska Aviation Weather Unit
This National Weather Service office is responsible for issuing area forecasts,
Airmet/SIGMET bulletins and other weather data for the entire state of Alaska and adjacent
waters. You can also access volcanic ash advisories.
Aviation Digital Data Service
ADDS is a revolutionary government program that posts weather observations and forecasts
generated by sophisticated numerical models for use by commercial and private pilots.
These data are available only via the Web page.

Produced from software developed at Purdue University, these weather forecast models give
highly detailed visual representations of meteorological conditions aloft. Forecast plots
cover a time frame of 12 to 72 hours.
