Occurrence Database
This Canadian government server has geological, location and economic information on over
11,900 mines, mineral deposits and occurrences in British Columbia. Download the
MINFILE/pc software program to really play with this data.
USGS Mineral Resources Program
This government operation is responsible for disseminating current information on the
occurrence, quality, quantity and availability of mineral resources. Mostly intended for
commercial interests, it is a good resource for hobbyists.
